Clare has developed a unique style of painting in oils, which uses thin layers to allow light to move through the painting. These works are framed behind glass

Clare also specialises in  monoprinting which produces unusual textures and marks not possible by any other painting method. This is well suited to the landscapes and seascapes Clare wants to portray.

Berkshire and further afield in England Scotland and Wales there are many beautiful and dramatics scenes waiting to be interpreted in her own individual way. The style is semi abstract but retains the recognisable structure of landscape and coast.

Clare is an exhibiting member of the Reading Guild of Artists and regularly exhibit with them and at other venues in London ,Wokingham,Henley , Reading, Berkshire ,Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire

Her work has been selected for many awards, including a national award for abstract painting.
